The items of the Face/Version Properties dialog have the following meaning:

Face Name:

Displays the current face name.

Version Name:

Contains the list of all versions of the current label. If the dialog is launched from the version context, the current version is selected. You can select another version from the list and set properties for it.

Rename:

Allows you to rename the version. The system displays the Version Name dialog like shown in example below when you click this button.

Default:

This check box allows you to set any version as the default one. Only the default version will be printed when the entire project is sent to the printer. When a particular version is selected as the default, the check box for the previous default version will be cleared. You have to mark one of the versions as the default one.

Shared:

This check box is enabled only when the selected version has been shared. You can clear this option so as to break an existing link. After saving changes the unshared versions become separate copies of one another.

Background:

This panel allows you to change background for the currently selected version. This panel contains standard controls for setting filling with one exception: filling with Image may be centered or fitted.

OK:

When clicked, the changes take effect and the dialog is closed.

Cancel:

If you click this button or close the dialog by pressing the ESC key, the operation will be cancelled.

Apply:

When clicked, the changes will take effect.
